Our Rooms

At Little Earth Montessori Kapiti we have two separate rooms, enabling us to deliver age appropriate experiences for children at each different age and stage.

Nido Room – Infants and Toddlers

Our Nido Room caters for children from 6 months to 3 years old. Our infant and toddler programme provides a pleasing and engaging learning environment where trust is built through caring and respectful relationship among children, teachers, parents, and whanau. It supports children’s natural development, confidence and independence.

Fantail Room – Preschool Programme

The Fantail Room caters  for up to 30 children from 3 years until they turn 6. Our preschool programme provides a learning environment that reinforces children’s independence and intellectual development. The clearly defined Montessori curriculum is seen in daily practice through the areas of practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, biology and geography.
